China is stepping up its efforts to welcome global travelers with a major expansion to its visa-free entry policy. Starting November 30, 2024, citizens from nine new countries—including Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Japan, and Malta—can explore China visa-free.
In an exciting enhancement, the stay period has been extended from 15 to 30 days, with new eligibility for exchange visits in addition to tourism, business, and family visits.
This brings the total to 38 countries, including France, Italy, and Switzerland, benefiting from this policy, valid through December 31, 2025.
